Language and the Social Media

I believe social media is the best way to develop human connections, especially for me. I came to Canada six months ago from Sri Lanaka.  I came here with my mom and sister. My father, cousins, grandma, grandfather all still live in my country, so as a family member I have to keep in touch with them.  Social media like Facebook, Twitter, and Skype help me to keep in touch with them. For example, I talk with my father everyday through Skype. It makes me feels like my father is beside me.
Also I lived sixteen years in my country, so I have a lot of friends there. I still keep in touch with them. Facebook helps me to do this. I can share my happiness, problems, secrets with my friends like before.
The other main thing which comes to mind is the language. Language is a great tool which keeps human connections strong.   I have my own experiences of this, as English is my second language.  When I first came to this country it was so hard to understand the accent. Without proper communication, I couldn’t make any friends, but after that, when I got used to this language, I got some friends. This is a great example to show how language is a great tool which helps to develop the human connection.
As I mentioned above, language and social media are so important for human connection. And helps us develop a strong connection with others. It will help us in our day today activities and also it will help us in the future.
