Hockey creates
human connections in many more ways than one. We all get together to watch our
favourite teams play. Even if you don’t play it competitively, it still makes
you feel a part of something, a part of a team.
If you do play it, it gives you a sense of belonging. Just being a part
of a group that constantly depends off of each other is what really makes you
feel useful.
It creates connection by having to create
offensive plays, not only offensive but defensive just as much and ultimately
executing the play. Hockey is well known and dominated by Canadians but it’s
not easy to dominate an amazing sport like hockey. Hockey is just as well known
in other parts of the world as it is in Canada; the reason why we are so good
at it is because we have a larger fan base for it. Smaller countries like
Belarus for example is a small country, thus having far less hockey players
like Canada does.
Either way,
hockey is a sport loved by many. We cheer for the same teams but you can’t
forget that hockey also creates conflict because realistically, we can’t all
cheer for the same team. There are many, many loyal fans out there that could
hate your team’s guts. When you meet that person, they’re not going to give you
quite the welcome you’ve expected. Win
or lose hockey is hockey and Canada will always show the world who is best at
it.

This was a very insightful, relevent, and prudent blogpost that you directly correlated to your main ideas. You appeared to have a strong connection and well said points. This is something that anyone can relate to and i feel you got your point across quite adequately and precisely. :) -Skylar
