Magic the gathering is the longest running and top selling trading card game in the world; it is played by more than 12 million people worldwide. I experience human connections through magic when I go to play it at any of the local game stores here in Lethbridge. There is something about sitting across from someone and knowing that for the next forty five minutes you and this person are going to be engaging in a battle of wits to prove who the better player is. The best thing is as long as no one is being a jerk

        Magic is also a great way to sit back and relax and just have fun with your friends. Magic can be any game that you want it to be, you want to outsmart your opponent? Magic is your game. Really like elves or goblins? You can make a deck based around those. Want to do something so silly you make all of the people at the table double over laughing? Magic has got you covered. All in all magic is a really great game.
